The state office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Thiruvananthapuram was attacked early on Friday, according to media reports.
BJP workers allege that Communist Party of India (Marxist) activists were involved in the attack, but the organization has denied having any role in it. Kummanom Rajasekharan, the BJP state president, was in the office at the time of the attack. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, PTI reported.
The attackers, who arrived on three bikes, pelted stones at the BJP office. Six cars, including one owned by Rajasekharan, were also damaged.
